Good Eats Along the Snowmobile Trails

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

Black River Country has some of the finest snowmobile trails in the state, with 300 miles of groomed trails running throughout Jackson County and connections to 500 more miles in the surrounding area.

With so much ground to cover, you’re bound to get hungry along the way. Luckily, you won’t have to go far off the trail to get a great meal in Black River Country.

Right along State Highway 54 in Black River Falls you’ll come across Sunset Tavern. They’ve got snacks, pizza and “the coldest beer around.” They’ve also got pool and darts (once you arms and hands have unthawed!). Don’t miss this fun and friendly stop.

Southwest of Black River Falls is Millston and here, along Highway 12 you’ll find Becker’s 400 Club. On weekends you’re welcome here for a hearty breakfast to start your day off right and during the week they offer tasty lunches and filling dinners. Specials include Friday fish, Saturday prime rib and Sunday broasted chicken. Drinks are top notch here too. Stop by during your next snowmobile adventure and enjoy this comfortable, casual, rustic atmosphere.
