Black River Child Care & Preschool was established in 1976. We were the first child care center in the area. Our main site is state licensed to care for 80 children ages 1-12, and our After School Program is state licensed to care for 50 children. Our non-profit center has a board of directors consisting of parents and professionals from the community. We offer care M-F from 5:30am to 6:00pm, before and after school care, care on non-school days, a school age summer program and a back-up care program. We offer a 4-K program in collaboration with the BRF School District.

We are a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The national movement serving more than 5 million children ages 8-18 in 4,000 club facilities. Clubs are located in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and on domestic and international military bases. Each Boys & Girls Club is locally autonomous but must meet certain requirements to maintain membership. A Boys & Girls Club Provides: A safe place to learn and grow Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals. Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, Hope and opportunity.

The Children’s Learning Village Montessori Academy serves the educational needs of children from infancy through pre-primary. Recognizing that the children of today are the future leaders of tomorrow, we strive to develop intrinsically motivated and independent learners who will achive their highest potential, therefore, preparing them to become successful participants in society. We challenge the children to learn and explore on an individual basis as well as develop a respect for others and the environment. We are a Non-Profit Organization and our hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. We are state licensed for up to 49 children, ages 6 weeks to 7 years.
