Natural resources, such as those provided by the County Forest, are the base for addressing the ecological and socioeconomic needs of society. The mission of the Jackson County Forestry is to manage, conserve and protect these resources on a sustainable basis for present and future generations. Approximately 120,000 acres make up the Jackson County Forest. With our extensive trail system and abundance of camping opportunities Jackson County Forestry and Parks is committed to serving your recreational needs.
