The City of Black River Falls will begin water main flushing on October 5, with the process expected to take approximately two weeks.
During flushing, residents and businesses may temporarily experience discolored water or lower water pressure. This is a normal part of the flushing process as crews work through the water system.
If you notice discolored water, simply run your cold water for a few minutes until it clears. You may also want to check the water before doing laundry or other activities where discoloration could be an issue.
Water main flushing is an important part of routine system maintenance and helps keep Black River Falls’ water system operating properly. Thank you for your patience while this work is completed.
