Jim Hoffman to present a program about building mock beaver dams
Hoffman will present a program titled, “Beaver Ecology in Wisconsin,” at the Wednesday, Sept. 10 Friends of the Black River meeting. Hoffman has been building the dams constructed out of organic material as one of the means to rewild his cranberry operation near Alma Center. The public education meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in The Hub in the Lunda Community Center. The presentation is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
