At our last meeting, we had some great conversation, shared resources between parents, and talked about a few ideas we’d like to continue exploring — including potential recreational opportunities for individuals with extra needs of different ages and better resources to help parents understand and prepare for things like IEP meetings.

We’re still figuring out what this group can become, and that’s part of the point. The conversations, ideas and needs of the families involved are helping guide where we go next.

If you haven’t joined us yet, **you are absolutely welcome.** There’s no screening, no requirement for a particular diagnosis, and no judgment. If you feel you could benefit from connecting with other parents and caregivers navigating relatable experiences, come join us.

Talk as much or as little as you’d like. Come with questions, share something that’s worked for your family, or just come and listen.

**And if childcare is the thing keeping you from being able to attend, please reach out to me ahead of time. We can help provide childcare during the meeting if we know in advance.** I don’t want childcare to be the reason someone who wants to come isn’t able to.

Although we meet in Black River Falls, **this is not limited to BRF or Jackson County. Families from surrounding communities are welcome!**
