#WillPProject is a community nonprofit serving people within 30 miles of Alma Center, Wisconsin, through suicide-prevention outreach and cancer support. Guided by its “Stop.Think.Live.” message, the organization shares hope, help, and encouragement while promoting connection and support during difficult times.
The #WillPProject Cancer Warrior Service gives people currently battling cancer within the service area a way to request assistance through an online application. The program’s stated purpose is to brighten the day of local cancer warriors and support people facing cancer.
The organization’s suicide-prevention work includes plans for community benches and signs intended to encourage supportive conversations, along with efforts to help pay for counseling or mental-health sessions for people who need assistance. #WillPProject also encourages people to pause, think about their choices, seek support, and choose to live.
