We invite you to our 13th Annual Emergency Responder Dinner at Castle Hill Supper Club, just south of Merrillan. We will be serving prime rib, baked chicken, chef-carved ham and breaded shrimp with all the trimmings. Multiple raffle baskets and a money board will also be available for you to win big.
We prefer you purchase tickets in advance to help us plan, but walk-ins are welcome. To reserve your tickets in advance, call Claudia Fields 715-896-0406 or Carrie June 715-586-9099.
Your local fire and rescue department is an all-volunteer organization. We directly serve six area communities including the towns of Alma, Garden Valley, and Mentor and the villages of Alma Center, Humbird, and Merrillan. We also offer mutual aid services to surrounding communities.
We had 188 first responder and 74 fire calls in 2025. This included responding to medical emergencies, building fires, motor vehicle accidents, wildland fires, falls/lift assists and other miscellaneous calls. This call volume makes our first responders the busiest group in the county.
We currently have 49 active members and volunteers who are your friends, family, and neighbors. Throughout this extremely busy year, we were proud to help some of our dearest friends and neighbors in our community and surrounding communities.
Financial support from individuals like you allow County Line Fire & Rescue to provide these vital services to our community.
All proceeds from this dinner will be used to purchase:
• Life-saving medical equipment and training materials
• Fire equipment vital for putting out fires
• Vehicle improvements to better meet the needs of our residents
We are honored to offer these services to our communities.
