Join us for the 2026 All-Abilities Stroll, a fun and inclusive community walk celebrating movement, accessibility, and the belief that Abilities Outweigh Disabilities!

This free 1.3-mile stroll is designed for participants of all ages and abilities. Strollers, wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices are welcome and encouraged. Participants can move at their own pace, with rest stations featuring seating and water available approximately every 1/8 mile along the route.

Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m., and the stroll will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the District 1 Community Center, located at 7261 Warrior Ave, Black River Falls, WI 54615.

The All-Abilities Stroll is a collaboration between Ho-Chunk Community Health and Jackson in Action, with support from many community organizations and businesses. Whether you complete the full route or simply come to enjoy the morning, this event is about participation, connection, and celebrating movement together.

Registration is free and encouraged to help organizers plan for participants and event materials. Official All-Abilities Stroll shirts will be available for purchase during registration until August 6, with a limited selection available at the event.

The All-Abilities Stroll will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the District 1 Community Center, located at 7261 Warrior Ave, Black River Falls, WI 54615.

Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m., and the stroll will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Participation is completely free.

The stroll route is approximately 1.3 miles long.

Yes. This event is designed to be accessible and welcoming to everyone. Strollers, wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices are encouraged and welcome.

Yes. Rest stations with seating and water will be available approximately every 1/8 mile so participants can take breaks and move at their own pace.

Yes. Strollers are welcome on the route.

Yes. Wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids are welcome and encouraged.

Therapy pets are welcome. For the comfort and safety of all participants, please leave other pets at home.

Participants are encouraged to bring comfortable walking or athletic shoes, a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, weather-appropriate clothing, any mobility aids or assistive devices normally used, and plenty of enthusiasm and community spirit.

That is perfectly okay. The event is designed to be flexible and welcoming. Participants are encouraged to move at a pace that is comfortable for them and use the rest stations along the route. The goal is participation, fun, and celebrating movement together.
