Celebrate the Black River Child Care Center 50th anniversary on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. CDT at the center’s location at 725 N. 8th Street in Black River Falls. Admission to this community celebration is free.

The evening will feature food, children’s activities and an open house, giving guests an opportunity to visit the center and connect with families, alumni, current and former staff, supporters, local businesses and other community members. A celebration ribbon cutting is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Food pricing is not listed.

Founded in 1976, Black River Child Care Center is marking five decades of caring for children and supporting families in the Black River Falls area. The Black River Child Care Center 50th anniversary recognizes the people and community relationships that have contributed to the center’s history.
