Black River Child Care Center – 50th Anniversary Event

We are excited to invite the entire community to join us as we celebrate 50 years of caring for children, supporting families, and growing alongside our community.

Our center began in 1976 when a shared vision became reality and a nonprofit child care organization was established here in Black River Falls. From the very beginning, the goal was to provide safe, affordable, and high-quality care for children in a nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. What started in a small church building quickly became a trusted resource for local families, growing and expanding over the years to meet the needs of the community. Through strong community support and dedication, a permanent home for the center was built, helping secure the future of child care in our area.

As we celebrate this 50-year milestone, we honor the generations of children, families, and staff who have been part of this journey. This celebration reflects a legacy of care, commitment, and community—and a continued promise to serve future generations.

Please join us on Thursday, August 20th from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM for this special community celebration.

This will be a family-friendly event open to all, featuring food, children’s activities, and an open house of our center. Additional details will be shared as they become available.
