Cpl. Mitchell RedCloud Jr. Day 2026

Join the community on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for Cpl. Mitchell RedCloud Jr. Day at the Ho-Chunk Nation District 1 Community Center in Black River Falls.
This special day honors the life, service, courage, and legacy of Cpl. Mitchell RedCloud Jr., a Ho-Chunk warrior, Korean War hero, and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. Veterans, families, community members, and the public are invited to come together for a day of remembrance, celebration, and community connection.
The event will feature a parade, social dance, games, food and drinks, and the new RedCloud Raiders Triathlon, a 17-mile challenge including bike, canoe/kayak, and run portions. A Medal of Honor display honoring Cpl. Mitchell RedCloud Jr. will also be on site.
