Bring your dairy heifer and clippers to the Dairy Fitting & Showing Workshop at the Jackson County Fair on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
This hands-on workshop is designed to help dairy exhibitors get ready for fair by learning how to properly prepare their animals, use clippers, and build confidence for showing in the ring. Participants will receive practical guidance on dairy fitting and showmanship so they can feel more prepared when fair time arrives.
Lunch will be provided. The Jackson County Fair’s entry information also includes junior dairy resources and educational workshop materials, making this a useful opportunity for youth dairy exhibitors preparing for the fair season.
