Join Friends of the Black River for a free Spring Wildflower Walk on Saturday, May 9, at 10:00 AM. The public is encouraged to attend this guided walk to learn more about native wildflowers, plants, and the natural beauty of the Black River area.

Those who would like to carpool or caravan to the site should meet at 9:30 AM in the Black River Area Chamber of Commerce parking lot, located at 120 N. Water Street, Black River Falls, WI.

The guided walk is expected to last about one hour.

For those who cannot attend the guided walk, a hike-on-your-own trail will be set up from Thursday, May 7 through Tuesday, May 12. The trailhead can be accessed by taking State Highway 54 East to Mission Road, then turning left on Mission Road to W8969 Pettibone Pass.
