Join the community for the Hart2Heart Memorial Walk on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. CDT at Lunda Community Park in Black River Falls. The two-mile round-trip walk begins at 2:00 p.m. and brings the community together in memory of Dr. Lyle Hart.

Admission is $10 per person or $30 per family, defined as two adults and two or more children. Children ages 5 and younger may attend free. Proceeds benefit the Jackson County Humane Society and its support for homeless pets living at the Jackson County Animal Shelter.

In addition to the Hart2Heart Memorial Walk, participants can enjoy an agility course, pet activities, games, snacks and raffle prizes. Raffle tickets are listed at $2 each or $20 for a “wing span.”

Pets are encouraged to participate. They must be well-behaved, current on vaccinations and kept on a leash at all times. Participants are also responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
