The Merrillan Christmas Tree Festival returns to Gile Memorial Park on Saturday, August 22, 2026, with additional activities continuing Sunday, August 23. The festival features a car show, parade, vendors, crafts, a flea market, children’s activities, live music, competitions, camping, and community gatherings. The Merrillan Lions Club confirms the festival’s August 22 date and Gile Memorial Park location.

Saturday’s schedule begins with vendors, crafts, and a flea market from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Other activities include a Dyno Horsepower Shootout, Kids Land, a car show, the 11:00 AM parade, live music by Shock Pocket, a Santa Claus visit, a cornhole tournament, the Pin Up Girl Contest, a kiddie tractor pull, car show awards, Northern Family Farms tours, and overnight camping.
