Join Friends of the Black River for the Prairie Wildflower Walk on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at N8577 Shannon Valley Road in Black River Falls. This free, public outdoor walk invites residents and visitors to enjoy native prairie blooms, learn about the area’s natural landscape, and spend a summer evening outdoors in Jackson County.

Participants who would like to carpool or caravan to the site can meet at 5:30 p.m. in Thiesen’s Supply parking lot on State Hwy 54 in Black River Falls before heading to the walk location. The Prairie Wildflower Walk is scheduled for July 14, with a rain date of July 15, 2026.
