Celebrate Labor Day weekend at the Village Peddler Car Show on Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CDT at The Village Peddler of Hixton, 101 Sand Prairie Road N. The seventh annual community event is being held in memory of Carol Rittschof.

All makes, years and models are welcome, including cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles. Admission and vehicle entry are available for a free-will donation. Advance vehicle registration, check-in times and judging procedures are not listed.

The Village Peddler Car Show will feature trophies, DJ music, food and a 50/50 raffle hosted by the Taylor-Hixton American Legion. Jensen’s Towing and Repair of Hixton is the event sponsor. Food prices, raffle-ticket prices, trophy categories and the awards schedule are not listed.

The car show coincides with The Village Peddler’s Labor Day weekend flea market. Current Black River Country pages conflict on whether the flea market ends September 7 or September 8, so an exact flea market end date should not be included without confirmation from the organizer.
