
WORLD ELDER ABUSE AWARENESS DAY PRESENTS: BITES AGAINST ABUSE!

June 15 – World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
Join us on Monday, June 15 th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on the corner of Water St. and Harrison
St. in Black River Falls for Bites Against Abuse, in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness
Day. Come hungry as we will have three food trucks on site with food for purchase: The
Woodshed Mobile Wood-fired Pizza, Olsons lil Red Wagon, and Level Up Sips! You will also find
information, resources, and some fun giveaways available from Jackson County Adult Protective
Services, Bolton Refuge House, and Ho-Chunk Nation Social Services – Domestic Violence
Division and Adult Protection and Prevention Division.
We hope you can stop by and grab a bite to eat while we come together to learn the signs of
elder abuse and support the protection of older adults in our community! If you have any
