Step into the past and explore the rich history of Jackson County at the Carnegie Library Museum, opening for the 2026 season! Beginning Saturday, May 2, 2026, this historic museum welcomes visitors to discover two floors of fascinating exhibits inside a beautifully preserved 1915 Carnegie Library building.
Operated by the Jackson County Historical Society, the museum showcases a wide range of local history, including early settlement life, logging and lumber exhibits, military artifacts, Native American history displays, and unique collections like a restored dental office and post office.

Open Fridays & Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, May through September.
