By parents, for parents @ Lunda Community Center
June 22 @ 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Many people know Stephanie and I through real estate and through being involved in our community over the years.
Whether it’s helping families through major life transitions, supporting local events, fundraisers, schools, nonprofits, or different causes along the way, giving back and being involved has always been important to us.
But over time, our perspective has also been shaped deeply by our life at home as parents to 3 incredible kiddos — including 2 with extra needs.
While we’ve been very fortunate to have a tremendous support system around us, there are still moments this journey can feel isolating, overwhelming, and difficult to navigate. And we know there are many other parents out there feeling the same way — some maybe walking through it with far less support.
That’s why we’re choosing to turn more of our focus toward this.
Not because we have all the answers.
But because we understand how important community can be.
We wanted to help create a welcoming space where parents can connect with other parents who truly understand the realities, challenges, victories, emotions, and day-to-day experiences that come with raising children with extra needs.
A place to talk, listen, learn, share resources, support one another, and remind each other that none of us are alone in this.
By parents, for parents.
No pressure. No expectations. No RSVP required.
If you think this could help someone, please share this post or tag them below so we can hopefully reach families who may need it.
Our hope is that we can at the very least help create some connections or build a small community of people who maybe are going through relatable experiences!
If you know of anyone you think could benefit, please tell them and encourage them to come!
